Vermilion Parish School Board member wants to put Bill of Rights in classrooms
A member of the Vermilion Parish School Board is proposing to place an 11x14-inch poster displaying the United States Bill of Rights in every classroom in the parish’s public schools.
Gregg Meaux, a school board member from Kaplan, introduced the proposal at the Policy Review Committee Meeting on Monday night. The committee has approved the idea, and the process to implement the placement of the Bill of Rights in every classroom in the parish will now begin.
