Mary Dolores Broussard Andrus

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 09, 2024 in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice for Mary Dolores Broussard Andrus who died peacefully at Calcutta House surrounded by loved ones in the early evening on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Fr. Paul Bienvenu, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. The lecturers will be her granddaughters, Tricia Andrus and Leah Fink. Gift-bearers will be her granddaughters, Samantha Grabert and Kayla Fain.

Sharon Denise Linton Parker

ABBEVILLE, La. – A Home-going Celebration of Life for Mrs. Sharon Denise Parker, 57, the former Sharon Linton will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Christ Community Church of Abbeville (210 South Saint Valerie Street) with Dr. Warren Milson, III, officiating.
She will await the resurrection in St. Paul Cemetery (515 Jacqulyn Street) in Abbeville, LA.
A visitation will be held at Christ Community Church of God in Christ on Saturday, September 7, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Ronald Dale Guidry

Ronald Dale Guidry, affectionately known as "Dale," passed away on August 25th, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on December 3, 1943, in Kaplan, Louisiana, Dale was a proud and devoted member of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country with honor.
A man of deep faith, Dale lived a holy life through his commitment to the Catholic Church. His dedication extended to his active participation in the ” Third Order” Lay Carmelites, where he found spiritual fulfillment and community. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata, La.

Helen Thibeaux Perry

Home-going services will be held for Helen Thibeaux Perry, 97, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Abbeville. 
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until the time of service. 
Rev. Irving J. Simpson will officiate the services. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery, located at 410 Old Kaplan Highway in Abbeville.
Helen, or “NanNan,” as she was affectionately called by many, was born on February 15, 1927, to Ernest Thibeaux and Syrilla Joiner Thibeaux.
