ABBEVILLE — A Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Katina Makole Smith, 45, will be held at St. Theresa of the Child of Jesus Catholic Church on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Fr. François Sainte-Marie officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 8 a.m. until time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 10 a.m.

Ores Paul Seaux
Ores Paul Seaux, resident of Spring, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2024, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia.
Paul was born on October 1, 1941, to parents Eris and Alta Hollier Seaux in Forked Island, Louisiana. He was a longtime resident of Sunset, Louisiana and spent a number of years in Kerrville, Texas before moving to Spring. After graduating from E. Broussard High School in 1959, Paul went to work for Amoco Production Company, which led him to his love for the oilfield.
