Seventh Ward Elementary honors Alex Chavez as Student of the Year

Alex Chavez was selected as 5th Grade “Student of the Year” at Seventh Ward Elementary. Components of the selection process included: student grade point average, LEAP scores, and an interview. He is a model student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, and a positive attitude. Alex Chavez is the son of Isidro Chavez and Alejandra Martinez. Pictured with Alex are Maxine Dartez--counselor, Kacie Creasman--teacher, Melissa Romero--Teacher and Principal Marlene Primeaux.

LeBlanc Elementary students and families collect thousands of pounds of non-perishables

LeBlanc Elementary students and families, together with LeBlanc Elementary’s 4-H club, led by Michelle Vidallia and Elise Melton, collected 3,947 pounds of food for the Food Drive! Madame Floraine’s class collected the most with 284 pounds! They will celebrate with a pizza party!

Erath Middle names Student of the Year finalists

The top three Student of the Year Finalist for Erath Middle School are Regan Granger, Cameron Soirez, and Mary Grace White. These students outstanding leadership in academics, extracurriculars, and community service have made them model students and community members here at EMS.
