ABBEVILLE — A memorial home-going celebration of life for Mrs. Linda Green 70, the former Linda Shelvin, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1 at Fletcher Funeral Home in Abbeville, LA, with Bishop Donnie Bolden, Sr. officiating.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home in Abbeville, LA on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Due to the August 1, 2021, COVID-19 mandate, masks are required to be worn by all attendees at the funeral home.
A resident of Abbeville, LA, she transitioned from labor to reward at 5:20 A.M on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Patterson Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Patterson, LA.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter: Kelli Nicole Green of Houston, TX; four brothers: Patrick Shelvin, Glenn Shelvin both of Abbeville, LA, Darryl Shelvin of Lafayette, LA and Jeff Shelvin of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren: Danae Green, Framanian Plowden, Jr. and Korreon Plowden and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Gordy Shelvin and A’mie Boutte Shelvin and one sister: Hazel Petry.
