Terry Robert “TR” Dartez

Terry Robert “TR” Dartez, 69, of Bellville, TX, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Dartez and wife, Jordan Dartez; his daughter, Caitlin Dartez and husband, Justin Nelson; his sister, Sherri Dartez; his beloved cats, BK, Squeak, Chunk, Kitten Kitten, and Fitz; and the outdoor clowder, who knew exactly whose porch had the best service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Stewart Dartez, and his parents, Lawrence Dartez and Flora Belle Guidry Dartez.
In lieu of a formal service, family and friends will gather to toast TR’s life on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Falk Event Center, 504 East Strauss St , Bellville, TX, 77418. A short time of remarks and remembrance, followed by a toast to TR, will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Flowers are welcome and may be sent to The Falk Event Center. TR loved the pollinators and would want the butterflies and bees to get their share.
