Grand Jury hands down true bill against Ware for molestation of juvenile
According to the 15h Judicial District Attorney’s office, a Grand Jury handed down a True Bill against Alan Joseph Ware of Abbeville last week.
Ware, whose last address is 8908 Rue Elanc in Abbeville, was indicted on seven counts.
Ware was arrested and charged in June of 2022.
Two of the seven were sexual battery charges.
He was charged twice for molestation of a juvenile (victim under 17 years old but older than 13 years old) and three charges of indecent behavior with a minor.
Ware is also charged with sexual battery because he allegedly touched the private parts of someone under 15 years old.
The two molestation charges stem from him allegedly “intentionally committing lewd or lascivious act upon a juvenile under the age of 13 years old, to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of either person by use of force, violence, duress, and psychological intimidation, the threat of great bodily harm or by use of influence by virtue of position on control of supervision over the juvenile”
