Dorethea Myrtis Boudreaux Hernandez, MPH, affectionately known as "Pie" passed peacefully from this world on February 1, 2024.
A child of Erath, Louisiana born to Dr. Luke Boudreaux and Dorethea Margaret "Toots" Kibbe Boudreaux. She was the eldest sister to the late Dr. L. Martial "Buddy" Boudreaux and Vann Boudreaux. She was the beloved wife to the late Col. Leon J. Hernandez of Manila and Libmanan, Philippines.

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Mrs. Marjorie Pierce (nee Richey), 98, of Perry, passed away on April 2, 2024, peacefully in her sleep. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.
