Vickie Cain Beiza

ABBEVILLE – A Catholic Mass and Burial for Vickie Cain Beiza, 69, will be held Wednesday January 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Father Don Bernard officiating.
Visitation will be held Tuesday January 25, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM and will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Vickie was a native of Bayou la Batre, Alabama and a resident of Abbeville; she was the 4th child of Vance Cain Jr. and Hilda Eunice Raley Hutchinson. Vickie grew up on Cain Hill in Bayou la Batre, Alabama. She attended St. Margaret’s Elementary School and then Alba High School, there she met and married her high school sweetheart, Rosalino “Charlie” Martinez Beiza, Sr. on March 8, 1969. She and her husband and children moved to Abbeville on Oct. 31, 1978. Vickie love scrapbooking, gardening, and her prized dog, Penelope”Penee”. She never met a stranger and  was known as Maw Vickie to many. Strong in her Catholic faith, she prayer for everyone. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Rosalino “Charlie” Martinez Beiza, Sr.; her children Rosalino “Charlie” Martinez Beiza, Jr. and his wife Shelli, Tanya Beiza Joseph and her husband John, and Chera Beiza; her grandchildren Alaina Beiza Clark and her husband Ross, Jenna Beiza and her fiancé Killian Minch, Sr. Maria Domus Sapientiae (Abigail) Joseph, Felix Joseph, and Althea Henry; her great grandchildren Zoey, and Nova Clark. Vickie is also survived by her siblings Sue Clark and her husband Gene, Kathy Godwin and her husband Frankie, Vance Cain III and his wife Jamelle, and Michael Robin Cain and his wife Jimmie Anne.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents Vance Stilver Cain Sr. and  Hilda Eunice Raley Hutchinson; and her sister Theresa Ruth Cain; and her mother in law Lucy “Lula” Smith. 
Pallbearers - Charlie Beiza, Jr., Felix Joseph, John Joseph, Ross Clark, Killian Minch, and Elijah Crawford, and Gene Clark. 
Honorary pallbearers - Angel Taylor.
