Chamber to host annual banquet

Kaplan Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual banquet - “A Tasteful Evening” on Thursday, November 20 at V-Arena Hall.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.
This year is a special year for the Chamber - its 25th Anniversary.
The Chamber holds its annual banquet to bring the community and businesses together for an evening filled with wonderful cuisine provided by local caterers (Chef Bobby & Dot, Dar’s Cajun Cookin’, and Brad Simon) recapping the Chamber’s accomplishments throughout the year and recognizing outstanding citizens.
Awards will be presented to Man of the Year - Mr. Gerald LeMaire
Woman of the Year - Dr. Jane Abshire
Living Legend - Mr. J.G. Benoit
Citizens of the Year - Food for Bereavement
Everyone is invited to join in honoring the award recipients. Tickets are $15 per person and includes five complimentary food tickets.
Tickets are available through the Chamber Office, Kaplan State Bank, Marlene’s Flower Center and Vermilion Bank.
