Moon Griffon guest speaker at Chamber luncheon

The Kaplan Area Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon will feature the popular radio talk show host, Moon Griffon, as their guest speaker.
The luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the American Legion Hall in Kaplan.
The entertaining speaker combines politics and personal experiences, then mixes common sense thinking with his own brand of Cajun flavor.
Born and raised in Plaquemine, Louisiana, Moon is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. An avid fisherman, Moon will travel anywhere to put a hook in the water.
He and his wife Tonia live with their four children in Monroe.
Tickets are available from the Kaplan Area Chamber of Commerce at Kaplan City Hall on Monday, Wednesday and Friday fro 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost is $15 per person for members and $17.50 for non-members.
The menu will consist of brisket, crawfish fettucini and corn machoux.
